Hood Green

We were recommended by a local architect to undertake this project due to our expertise in stone work and matching into existing buildings.  

The client was unsure if to add an extension to the back of the house or just a porch - the kitchen was already large enough but they didn't really want to block the beautiful views from the back garden.   They currently had a utility for washing etc but wanted somewhere to come into to store coats, bags and boots before heading into the main house, so after various discussions we suggested a Boot Room Extension.

The client already had a large pile of reclaimed stone in their garden which they had been collecting and wanted to use some of this where possible in the Boot Room Extension.  The Garage/Garden Room was to be built in new stone with a store area to the front and a garden room with mezzanine and toilet to create a family/teenagers chill out place. 

Once the projects were completed they also asked us to level out the driveway, create some privacy gates and re-build the side wall - next year is the Garden Project - watch this space!
